National Weather Service Storm Spotter Basics Class Saturday, March 30, 2019 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. SPH (Bldg. 255), Room 1312 For More Information: Craig Carignan 301 405 1996 craigc@ssl.umd.edu https://www.weather.gov/lwx/skywarn The National Weather Service is coming to campus to teach a free class on the basics of storm spotting and severe weather safety.  The Basics class covers severe weather such as thunderstorms and tornadoes, what to do in a weather emergency, and what to report to the National Weather Service.
