Tetracore Information Session Tetracore (Rockville, MD) is a biotechnology research and development organization that develops highly innovative kits, assays and reagents for the detection of infectious diseases, biological warfare (BW) threat agents and biological markers. The company focuses on antibody-based and nucleic acid-based detection reagents and technologies. We are looking to hire a mechanical engineer. You will work with an interdisciplinary team of Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Software Engineers, and Biologists to design, implement, and manufacture in vitro diagnostics instruments. Mechanical Engineering at Tetracore requires knowledge of part and assembly design, drafting, manufacturing, testing, and integration with electrical circuit boards. The Mechanical Engineer will assist the team in the planning, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of mechanical solutions in support of R&D and Product Development. Assist in the design and implementation of new products or enhance current designs of mechanical components that meet functional specifications and target due dates. Support and/or participate in component, subsystem and system concept design to help the team in verifying key design parameters and evaluating design options. Minimum Requirements:
