BD (Becton-Dickinson) Information Session Thursday, September 8, 2022 8:00 p.m. Virtual For More Information: Engineering Career Services 301 405 3863 careerengr@umd.edu http://www.BD.com/ Becton Dickinson (BD) is a global medical technology company that is advancing the world of health by improving medical discovery, diagnostics and the delivery of care.    The BD Engineering Development Program (EDP) is an entry level R&D rotational program for new Mechanical, Materials, Biomedical Engineering (BS or MS earned in or between July 2022-June 2023). EDP is designed to give new engineering graduates an opportunity to spend the first three years of their career rotating through three different BD businesses throughout the US. EDPs work side by side with R&D engineers on cross functional teams to design, develop and manufacture a wide range of medical devices, growing their BD network with each successive rotation. Similarly the BD Software Development Program (SDP) is designed to give new Computer Science, Computer Engineering graduates (BS or MS earned in or between July 2022 – June 2023) an opportunity to spend the first three years of their career rotating through three different BD teams throughout the US. SDPs work to develop, enhance, and sustain software systems in a cross-functional team environment; both groups expand their BD network with each successive rotation.   Following the completion of each respective program, EDPs/SDPs transition into a permanent position in one of the BD groups based on their interests and business needs.  Read more about EDP and how to apply here, and read more about SDP and how to apply here.   RSVP at https://tinyurl.com/2q8wz3qt.
