Due to high interest, on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, the Division of Research will host another training session on "Federal Contracting for the Departmental Administrator: RFPs, FAR, CORs, CDRLS and Everything In Between."

Description: Departmental Administrators play a crucial role in the administration of federal contracts from proposal preparation to closeout. This workshop will focus on the different aspects of successful administration of federal contracts, including responding to a Request for Proposal (RFP), decoding contract terms (including the Federal Acquisition Regulation aka FAR), understanding reporting requirements, and the roles and responsibilities of the different individuals/offices involved in managing contracts. Other topics of discussion will include compliance areas such as COI, OCI, IRB, export control, property reporting and subrecipient monitoring. Case studies will be used to provide hands-on opportunities for learning.
