Order of the Engineer 2024 Tuesday, May 7, 2024 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Zupnik Forum in Clark Hall, 8278 Paint Branch Dr., College Park, MD 20742 For More Information: Karen Wagner 301 405 0224 kmarcher@umd.edu https://bit.ly/OOE2024 Graduating engineering students and alumni are invited to take the Obligation of the Engineer, an oath which symbolizes unity of purpose and lifelong dedication to the profession of engineering. The program will feature a ring ceremony and a keynote address by George Barnes ('86 Electrical Engineering), former Deputy Director and senior civilian leader of the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) and current President of Red Cell Partners' Cyber Practice and Partner at the firm. Inductees and guests will be treated to a dessert reception following the program. Tickets Student and alumni ticket: $20 for ring and lifetime membership (price increases to $25 on April 19th) Guest ticket: $10 (no ring/membership) **IMPORTANT: The Order of the Engineer ring is worn on the pinky finger of your working hand. To order the correct ring size, please use the ring sizing guide located here.** To ensure receipt of your requested ring size on May 7th, ticket must be purchased by Friday, April 19th.
