Congratulations to Elizabeth Paul and Jaideep Pathak who were both recently recognized with Outstanding Graduate Assistant Awards. The Outstanding Graduate Research Award is a university-wide recognition that is limited to the top 2% of graduate assistants in a given year.

Elizabeth works with Drs. Matt Landreman and Bill Dorland in studying magnetic coil design and optimization for magnetic confinement fusion systems. Jaideep works with Profs. Ed Ott and Michelle Girvan on problems related to machine learning applied to nonlinear dynamics and chaos. 

Elizabeth and Jaideep will be recognized at the Annual Graduate School Fellowship Award Celebration in May.
