The National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Awards to four Clark School faculty members:
- Helim Aranda-Espinoza, bioengineering, for Mechanotaxis of Axons and Neurons
- Andre Marshall, fire protection engineering, for Exploring Jet Fragmentation and Atomization for Combustion and Fire Suppression Systems
- Nuno Martins, electrical and computer engineering and Institute for Systems Research (ISR), for Distributed Control of Dynamic Systems Using a Wireless Communication Medium: Two New Paradigms
- Miao Yu, mechanical engineering and ISR, for Biology-Inspired Miniature Optical Directional Microphones: Bridging Biological Systems and Sensor Technology
